No one in America should ever be afraid to walk down the street holding the hand of the person they love. - Barack Obama
On September 11, 2001 I was 8 years old… I was at home preparing to go to school in the morning. Really cloudy morning even though the sun was brightly out there. I’ll never forget. It’s a very sad day for America as a whole. Those who lost family members, friends, sons, husbands, daughters, wives, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, uncles, aunts… we will ALWAYS remember them. May we all never have to witness such a catastrophe again.
Love and peace to you all.
Childhood cancer…did you know? Childhood cancer is more than a cute kid with a bald head. It is chemo, it is radiation, it is brutal surgeries, it is constant hospital stays, it is port flushes, it is losing weight, it is feeding tubes, it is toxic urine, it is nausea, it is more pills than the child can count. It is all of this and more, and many children still do not survive. Educate yourself, educate others. Turning your back to the reality of this disease will NOT stop the suffering and the pain. Ignorance isn’t bliss.
